About the Project
Huître built the Skin by LMR clinic in Porto from scratch, a project that combines the technical requirements of a healthcare facility with the aesthetic standards of a premium wellness environment. The fit-out of this unit, dedicated to plastic surgery and non-invasive treatments, has created consultation rooms and treatment rooms where sophisticated finishes and clinical efficiency coexist naturally – in line with the highest international standards in the medical sector.
Key Challenges
The key challenge was to integrate all the specialised medical networks and infrastructure – medical gases, controlled ventilation, operating theatre electrical systems and sterilisation facilities – within a space featuring high-quality interior finishes. Coordination between medical specialities and the finishing programme required very precise sequencing of works to ensure that no technical infrastructure compromised the integrity of the final finishes.
