About the Project
Molteni’s flagship store on Avenida da Liberdade is a landmark fit-out project in Portugal’s ultra-luxury sector. Conceived by Vincent Van Duysen and coordinated by Claudio Pironi & Partners, the project spans two floors that recreate luxury residential environments – the natural language of this internationally renowned Italian interior design brand. Huître created spacious exhibition areas where the classical architecture of the Avenida da Liberdade building interacts with highly refined contemporary lines.
Key Challenges
The finishing standards for this project were set by an international creative team with execution tolerances measured down to the millimetre. Integrating large-scale bespoke furniture, manufactured in Italy, into a building of classical architecture required careful structural adaptation and assembly logistics of extreme precision. Every alignment, joint and finishing detail was checked against the brand’s standards prior to handover.
