About the Project
The work carried out at Hotel Octant Praia Verde stands as a benchmark project in the construction and renovation of 5-star luxury hotels in the Algarve.
With architectural design by Saraiva + Associados, interior design by Pureza Magalhães and landscaping by Teresa Barão, the project included the construction of 19 new rooms and suites (most notably the exclusive Praia Collection, with private rooftop pools and direct access), a new spa featuring a heated indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath, a gym, an outdoor pool and its supporting bar. A project in which construction rigor and respect for the natural surroundings embody Huître’s exacting standards.
Key Challenges
From an engineering and waterproofing standpoint, particular emphasis was placed on the precise execution and thermal and water insulation of the pools installed on the rooftops of 7 rooms. In addition, managing and mobilizing specialized teams at this location required meticulous logistical planning and continuous on-site quality control, without compromising the delivery schedule.
The final result demonstrates the operational autonomy, technical expertise and pragmatic problem-solving that define Huître’s production teams.
