About the Project

JNcQUOI Fish is one of Huître’s most technically ambitious luxury restaurant projects. With interior design by Vincent Van Duysen, the space on Avenida da Liberdade is defined by a palette of white and dark green and a single central feature: a fully glazed professional industrial kitchen, integrated as the restaurant’s showcase. The fine marble flooring and immersive audiovisual integration complete a space where every technical detail has been refined to aesthetic perfection.

Key Challenges

Integrating the audiovisual systems completely out of sight within a space featuring finishes of the highest calibre was the major technical challenge of this project. The glazed industrial kitchen – a central visual focal point – required reconciling all the heavy mechanical systems of an open professional kitchen (extraction, gas, refrigeration, ventilation) with a visually flawless finish, visible from the dining area. The alignment of the joinery and stonework was executed with millimetric precision to meet the exacting standards of the international design.
